What We Do During School Meetings

At AdvocacyEd, we actively support parents during IEP, eligibility, and manifestation determination meetings. We help you prepare in advance, clarify your child’s rights, and ensure that school teams stay focused on data, services, and solutions. During the meeting, we guide discussions, ask critical questions, and advocate for decisions that support your child’s unique needs.

Hourly Rate: $70/per hour (IEP meetings are typically one hour)

When to Bring an Advocate

Parents often benefit from bringing an advocate when they feel unheard, when services aren’t being delivered, or when major decisions are being made—like eligibility determination, disciplinary actions, or placement changes. If you’re overwhelmed or unsure, an advocate can give you the clarity, confidence, and support needed to participate fully.
